One Year: We made it!

DS turned one yesterday and I'm VERY proud to say that we were able to make it through a whole year of exclusively breastfeeding.

I never thought we'd make it to this point. We had a rough road at the beginning, had to use a shield for months, he was a very pokey nurser up until about 8 months... but I stuck it out and I couldn't be happier with my decision.

It was by far one of the most difficult things I've done to date. This board was a wonderful resource, so a huge thank you to everyone here.

Stick with it Mamas - a year may seem like forever away, but it sure sneaked up on me and I can't believe it's here
