Freezer organization for milk storage bags

My LO is 6 weeks and I've started to stock up on milk in our freezer. I started stacking them upright, but it doesn't seem to be very efficient because the bottoms will freeze around the freezer shelve bars. How does everyone store their bags? Flat? Are there any dispensers available for purchase? I saw a method using the bottom of a gift bag. Has anyone done that before?
