New to this board and new to pregnancy, I'm only 7 weeks along with my first, but am definitely already thinking about the infant stages. I had a breast reduction almost exactly 10 years ago when I was 19. At the time the Dr. told me that there would only be a 30% chance that I would be able to BF. Back then it didn't matter to me since I was only 19 and far away from thinking about babies- additionally it just didn't seem that important (though my mom tried to explain to me that it was.) Now, it seems much more relevant. I always assumed that I wouldn't be able to BF, but have been doing some research and it seems like there is a very good chance, especially since it has been so long since the surgery. This is something that I would like to do if possible for health benefits as well as cost benefits. So any BFAR mamas out there?
