Lipase in fresh BM

My son coughed out a mouthful of breastmilk while nursing this evening. The fresh BM smelled horrible, like vomit. I know too much lipase can cause this smell in stored BM, by what about fresh? Is there anything I can do to reduce lipase? My son eats/ nurses well so I'm not too concerned about him not liking the taste of my BM, but it's still kind of gross and I'd like to fix it if possible. Thanks!
