First RE u/s: internal or external?

My first ultrasound with my RE is scheduled for this Tuesday -- I'll be 7w5d.  She specifically called it an "OB ultrasound" and "obstetrical ultrasound" whereas every ultrasound I've had in the past (for monitoring purposes) has just been called an ultrasound.  Is there a difference, other than the fact that she'll be (hopefully) looking at a baby instead of my ovaries?  Should I expect an internal or external u/s?

Doesn't really matter either way but I like to know what to expect.   Thanks!
