I'm just curious what other's experiences have been.... at first, I was attributing LO's newly poor sleeping to a growth spurt - waking up at 11 or 12, 2 or 3, and 5 instead of her prior habit of waking once around 3-4 (and only 2x at 2 and 5 from 6w-3mo or so). But most of her growth spurts have been fairly brief, 3-5 days or so.
I *think* that just maybe, 3 weeks later, she is finally over the growth spurt. The past 2 nights I have tried a dream feed as well, to see if that would end the early wake up (because for me, being awoken 1-2 hours after falling asleep was getting hard), and it has worked. But she's also dropped her 2nd wake up on her own - the past two nights she's nursed around 2 or 3, and then slept until 6:30 or 7.
I have also been getting a lot more milk from lefty my first pumping session of the day at work - that's the one that I feed her from in the morning while I pump righty - it's like she's taking a lot less than she was so it isn't as empty.
Can a growth spurt really last 3 weeks? (Am I actually likely to have my decent sleeper back, or are the last 2 nights a fluke?)
