2nd time mom, BF class?

I EPed for DS for a year. I'm not 100% sure what went wrong with BF, but it was a combo of painful latch, cracked nipples, mastitis, and DS nursing for 45 minutes at a time and never seemed satisifed. After about 2 weeks, I gave up and just pumped. I had a great supply. DS was diagnosed with reflux at 2 months, so I think the nursing constantly was more comfort nursing to sooth his reflux.

I really really do not want to pump this time if I can avoid it. I have been looking forward to nursing this baby since the day i found out I was pregnant. I just want it to work this time. Is it silly to take a BF class with #2? I did with DS#1, but I feel like something didn't go quite right, and I want to do everything I can to make it successful this time.
