BF after reduction surgery?

Have any of you ladies had any success in being able to BF post breast reduction surgery(or any surgery where they needed to remove the nipples and then re attach them)? I am due in a few weeks and have been waking up the last few nights with wet t-shirts due to leakage. I am praying this is a sign that I can BF.  I was told when I had the surgery that there was an 80% chance I would not be able to, and I do plan to meet with a lactation consultant after LO arrives - but would love to hear some other peoples experience with this (especially if you were able to bf despite the surgery). TIA
