3 hour GTT question

Ok so last pregnancy I failed the 1hr and the 3hr and had GD.  The OB just called and I failed my 1hr yesterday.  Here's my question.  Can I refuse the 3hr?  Can I just tell them no, deem me GD and I'll follow the diet and monitor my sugar?  They have had me on my blood sugar meds this whole pregnancy and it didn't do a darn thing and I just want to cry.  I really can't afford to lose the time at work when I know I'll fail the stupid thing anyways.  I'm assuming it's my right to refuse the 3hr, what would you do?

ETA: PCOS insulin resistance can suck my big toe!    I might as well be prepared to have GD for every pregnancy
