Question for Zofran Users

I was prescribed 4 mg Zofran. My doc said "you can take this once a day... some women need twice which is okay." I didn't think anything of it because I was sure I'd only take it in emergencies. Of course, the bottle says every 6 hours as needed.

Flash forward to now. I take it around 8 am, the longest I can wait after waking up at 7 am. Then again around 2 pm. Unfortunately, my nausea peaks around 6:30 pm so... this leaves me SOL in the evenings. Should I call and ask if 3x a day is okay, or is that excessive? Should I stop the morning dose and just do the afternoon & evening ones? Should I do one at 8 am and one around 5 pm? Sigh.
