When to start taking Fenugreek?

Good Morning! I usually post on the May 2013 board, but I wanted to ask you ladies something. I had some trouble producing enough milk for my DD (4 years ago) and my milk supply got a lot better once I started taking Fenugreek, but I didn't start taking that until I was maybe 2 - 3 weeks into nursing. I'm wondering if I should start taking it in the last weeks of pregnancy, start it the day I deliver or if I should just wait and see if I need it. What do y'all think?
