Ultrasound at 5 weeks 3 days...

I went in for an ultrasound because I had some light spotting when I went to the bathroom. The spotting only lasted 3 days, then i had light brown discharge and now nothing. The gestational sac measured at 5 weeks and 3 days ( I have irregular cycles so I was unsure of when we conceived but this sounds right). The ultrasound tech said that it looked normal for a very early pregnancy, but there was no yolk sac. Has anyone else experienced this? I miscarried in April at 6 weeks and 2 days... I just remember seeing a yolk sac during that ultrasound and I am worried because I didn't see one this time.  I also had some blood work down to check my hcg levels and I'm waiting to go back for more blood work today. Any thoughts??
