Nipple pain at 6 months?

What gives? My nips feel chapped and sore. I thought I was past all the pain!

DD is a little over 6 months and has recently been latching and then grabbing my boob like a bottle and pulling back. Makes me think she isn't getting enough. No sign of teeth yet.
