Spotting/Discharge?

There may be a post about this already but I am needing some advice. I am 5 weeks pregnant with my first. Friday morning when I went to the bathroom I noticed some pink spotting on my toilet paper. I have had light back pain and some cramping but nothing crazy. I called my OB and he put me on bed rest till today. The bleeding/spotting has not increased; in fact it has started to slow a lot. I haven't seen any since yesterday evening. My main question is that the color is changing and I want to know if this is normal. It started as a light peach/pink; then a light brown. Now today I am having clear discharge. Is this normal? Has anyone experienced this? I am terrified of a miscarriage Would love some thoughts / advice! Thanks.
