Anyone banking cord blood/tissue?

I was looking through my pre-admission packet today and noticed the cord blood banking info. Unfortunately, I think it's a bit out of our price range. $2,000 for the initial process for blood banking, plus an additional $1,000 for the tissue. It's only $125 per year after that for storage, but that's a bit out of our realm initially, especially with a new baby coming.

Anyone doing this? The brochure is very clear that the chance of needing to use it is VERY slim. But I also don't want to look back and say...I wish...
