What the heck was that??

So, I'm laying here on the couch and I felt the biggest kick I have maybe felt, yet and heard (and felt) a pop.  It was so loud that MH heard it on the other couch!  Not too mention it wasn't a pleasant feeling.  Then, it happened, again!  I don't think it was my water cause I stood up and nothing leaked?  Any of you experience this or know what it was?
