I was soooo sick an Indian friend made a beverage for me and says ALL pregnant women back home are given this for nutrition, strength, and breast feeding. She says drink it every night. I've been very happy with it.
melt 1tsp of butter in small pot. Add 1-2 tablespoons of semolina, it's like Cream of Wheat but more nutritious (any Indian store,but not your local grocer because chances are it sat too long on the shelf) Roast/toast the semolina a little
add one glass of milk, 1/2 tsp of sugar, 2 tablespoons of raisins. (Vary the sugar)
warm nicely and drink. You have to keep stirring as you drink.
This was easy for me to make because there wasn't a strong smell. She said Whole milk but I don't and that sugar can make it too sweet with the raisins.
