Best Birth Control for nursing

Hey ladies, my son will be 7 weeks on Friday and I am ebf.  I went to the drs yesterday for my postpartum check up and he prescribed me Jolivette.  Of course I looked into it once I got it from the pharmacy and all of the reviews I'm ready are totally making me NOT want to take it.  From small things like acne and hairloss, to depression and this on their website "This drug passes into breast milk and may have undesirable effect on a nursing infant."  That scares the crap out of me alone along with the depression.  I've already had my fair share of ups and downs, I don't really want to worry about depression.  

Does anyone recommend any certain birth controls?  A friend of mine has Mirena and I was interested in it but am still nervous.  What are you ladies on and what do you hear works best for breastfeeding mothers and is the most used?
