possible preg/possible mc-do I tell mom and dad?

Not sure if anyone has read my previous post yesterday, but I will find out this Friday if I am pregnant, or if I had a very early MC.  ( I took 3 hpts- all positive, but my bloodwork came back "negative" @ 21)  Confusing stuff, this! Boo. 

This is my first time possibly being pregnant... my question is, do I tell my parents if I learn that it was indeed an early MC?  I don't want to make them sad.... 

I'm still naively  hopeful that the nurse was wrong, and that I AM preggers, though I'm going crazy with worry.
