Insurance covering ultrasounds

Question: my dr office called and said they are trying to get ahold of my insurance co bc I am having frequent ultrasounds to check my cervix, if my dr sends prior auth to my insurance co, will they most Likley cover them? It seems like a no brainer . Wouldn't u want to cover a few 300 dollar u/s's than the cost of a premie..'anyone have any experience wth this!???
