Cramping while nursing....pregnant?

Hi ladies!  I have been a long time lurker who finally has a question worth asking .  I have ebf my son for the past 14 months and my period has not returned.  Last week I started having symptoms and really started to think I was pregnant!  I was having a lot of dull cramping, back aches, and headaches.  The symptoms have subsided a bit, but I still have cramping when I nurse my son.  I took a test this morning and got a bfn.  I will probably test again on Thursday.  Has anyone had any experiences like this?  Did AF eventually show up?  TIA for any help!
