Heart Rate Question

So i just had my 10week appointment today and it went great. No ultrasound. I had one at 6w4d. Today the doctor just listened to the heartbeat with the doppler. He said "great, strong, fast heartbeat so if you believe in the urban myth its a girl." Before i was pregnant i wanted a boy, but i have strong feelings its a girl. So, to second time mommys, did your baby have a fast heartbeat and if so, is it a girl or boy? Im extremely happy with whatever, just wondering what your experiences are.
