Picking a Dr.

 How did you decide on who to make your first appointment with? Ob-gyn? Or family practice? When the Dr. called to tell me my blood test was positive all she said was your next step is to find an expectant Dr. 

I talked with my mom a little and she said her and my dad used a family dr who delivered and then cared for the baby after birth. Or do you find an on-gyn and then find a pediatrician?.. 

 I am unsure what to do or who to talk to
