Positive hpt Saturday period type bleeding now

So my question here is have any of you ladies experienced period type bleeding in early pregnancy around the time your period should have been due? I had a big positive on a hpt Saturday morning and started having period type bleeding after sex Sunday morning. I can not get in to see my doc till next week due to the holiday and I'm in no pain really. I was just wondering how many of you this has happened to and when
I should take another hpt just to see if i pregnant or not... I'm trying very hard to just stay calm but input from others is greatly appreciated.
