Milk allergy question

 I'm curious. I'm now on a no dairy diet because my LO has had diarrhea for a week and a half now. He still has had some diarrhea diapers, but seems to be getting better. My DH seems to think that I should be able to eat things like muffins and pies that have milk in them while I believe that no dairy means no dairy. What do you guys think? Is there anyone else on a no dairy diet?
