Wacky equilibrium?

Wondering if anyone else has experienced this.  Earlier in the week, when I was showering, I all of a sudden lost my balance - luckily I caught and didn't fall.  Then last night I woke up to use the bathroom.  I stood up and lost my balance so bad - I almost went across the whole room trying to get my legs back under me.  My husband almost had a heart attack because I came close to the window which is 30ft above the ground!  Anyone else have this?  Anyways to minimize it?  I have heard dizziness is a pg symptom, but without any lightheadedness? Or like you got up too fast?  Weird!
