I'm hoping to breastfeed as successfully with baby #2 as I did with baby #1. However, I've decided for my sanity sake I will try to pump so my husband can help feed the baby. My first didn't take a bottle and that was very difficult...hope it doesn't sound selfish but I don't want to go through that again!
I was wondering when is a good time to start pumping to get a milk supply? I thought I read that it's not a good idea to start pumping too soon but I could be wrong. I've called my local La Leche League but haven't received any calls back in two weeks since I've left a message. Does it even matter when I start pumping? I plan to have baby breastfeed right away and hopefully he latches on! Thank you for any advice!
