Ladies NEED your advice on medicine!!

Saturday night noticed small rash in three days spread all over body made apt with OBGYN she said looks like pupps! I am 7 weeks! She referred me to dermatologist which they couldn't get me in for 3 weeks!! Last night I woke up scratching till I bled! I called dermatologist and they got me in today! They said they have never seen a case so early!! They prescribed Benadryl and a topical very low dose steroid creme.
Benadryl is class B drug and the topical creme class C. My mom said no way don't take them and tough it so out. Because of chances of birth defects. My husband rather me find a natural supplement.
What do you all think?? I think I know the answer : going to be a LONG itchy 7 months!!
