wwyd jaundice
Ds is 3 weeks old and i just started to feel like bfing has been going well...like yesterday. I noticed today symptoms and had him tested, and he has jaundice. His number is 15. Pedi suggested formula for 36 hours and bili blanket.
I do not want to unnecessarily undo all our bfing work unless ds needs the formula. Pedi suspects ds isnt getting enough bm. I feel wholeheartedly that the past day he has gotten bfing and is getting enough. Perhaps he wasnt getting enough, until yesterday when we got latched perfectly.
Im torn. My lc suggested 24 more hours of bili light and bfing and then reassess. I just dont want to be negligent. Wwyd?
