what to tell family ??

DS is the first grandkid (and greatgrandkid) on my side and my mom and grandparents won't stop talking about rice cereal, etc.  I plan to EBF the first six months and then introduce some purees and still nurse until one year (at least).  They're not swaying me I just want facts or something concrete to tell them why I'm not feeding cereal, etc.  He is a little baby and growing a little slower than pedi wanted, but LC said it still isn't bad for BF baby, so my family thinks I'm starving him.  My grandfather even mentioned letting him try pumpkin pie at Thanksgiving (my grandma vetoed that) and said, "that's what we did and they turned out ok."

I guess I'm usually just a people pleaser and I'm not good at dealing with everyone else's opinions on something that I'm decided on.  Do you have anything good I can give them or tell them?
