Dad's not excited, how to deal?

We got married in July and baby news came a bit earlier than either of us imagined. I am in the 6th week.  I am thrilled, he is definitely not.  We had a check in this morning and some of the things he said were that he is not happy, he's having a hard time dealing with my excitement, and that he is depressed and feels like his life is over.  He just wanted more time with just me and the dog and now everyone is just going to be talking about the baby and that he is not ready for this.  THe conversation ended with me crying, mostly because I feel like we can't share in this experience in the same way and him thinking he is a bad person for feeling the way that he does. I am now a wreck, not sure what to do.  I am glad that he trusts in us and is sharing his true feelings, but how do I deal with this?  I kind of wish he just wouldn't have even told me.  Any advice?
