Sensitive nipples/pain from pumping?

I was only pumping once or twice a day but now pump three or four times a day and also nurse. My nipples have been really sensitive the last few days and I've had a tiny bit of pain as well. I feared that maybe thrush was returning because I've also had some itching. I was hoping it's just cold weather causing the itching and my vasospasms causing the pain. Or maybe because it's that I just returned to work last week and I'm pumping more. Does anyone else have sensitivity or pain caused by pumping?
