Blockfeeding questions

Ok, so right now I think I have oversupply (baby spits up, pulls off my breast multiple times, I have let-down quickly and often when I am not nursing, she has green mucus poops more often than not, I could go on!) anyway, I currently nurse one breast per feeding but am considering trying blockfeeding to help my oversupply.

How does this work? Is it bad to try since I only feed one breast already? Would I actually be increasing my supply if I nurse the same breast for a 6 hour block? Suggestions? Advice? She is almost 7 weeks and I feel like I have had this up hill battle the entire time...argh!
