Piggy backing on solids q

My LO  had her four month  appt last week and she went from being in the 20% range to seven percent. Doc seemed ok with the with the expectation of being back up to twenty range by six months. I want to try giving some solids as she is very interested. I didn't want to do oatmeal and or rice because I wanted nutritionally heavy foods such as avacoado but not sure how to make a pur?e? Do I put bM on spoon with a tiny bit of mashed p avacoado? LO seems to drink milk off spoon fine but avacoado just stays on her tounge? She is eating as usually and seems content with BM amount. Plenty of wet diapers
