solids. at 4 months?

Hi Ladies.

My son is EBF and we went to our 4-month appointment this morning.  The pediatrician said that he knows that many nursing mothers don't start their babies on solids till 6 months, but he says that anytime after 4 months we can start solids. 

My baby is currently at the 10th percentile for weight, 25th percentile for height and 50th percentile for head circumference. The doctor doesn't seem concerned with his weight too much, but I'm thinking that if I were to add one serving of cereal/oatmeal per day that may increase his weight a little bit.

What do you ladies think?  He said whatever I decide is just fine.
