Girl.  You have to stop.  For 9 months I have heard you do nothing, but complain about your MIL.  And for a while I thought, "poor thing, Sounds rough". but, then this week happened.  You chose to share an email from you MIL that you thought would make us choose your side, but instead it did just the opposite.  I found her to be genuine, kind and pleading for your acceptance. I felt badly for her.  She is your husband's mother and your child's grandmother.  How would you feel if in 25 years LO treated you like this? Grow up.  I am sorry you want to sit in a bubble with your husband and your child, but that is just not how life is. 

Thinking back at all Christmases, Easters, Birthday etc, it was a huge family event. Not just me, my mom and dad.  How boring?  So invite your mother over for Christmas.  You don't get to choose your family, but you can choose your husband/wife.  And if you don't cut your Sh*t he may choose someone else.
