Pumping and Pain

Hello,

 My LO decided she liked the bottle better than my breast when I went back to work at two months.  She is now four months.  I exclusively pump now.  Lately it has been hurting so bad to pump.  Even when I am not pumping my nipple area hurts.  The tissue seems a little swollen around the nipples too.  Does anyone have any ideas what might be going on and how I can reduce the pain?  My goal is to go for at least 6 months, and I will, but it is just making it so hard to do.  Thank you for the help!
