Today I'm thankful that my SIL and BIL's adoption of their son is over and finalized.  It has been a very difficult year for them because of issues with the adoption, the birth father trying to scam them out of money and reclaim custody, crazy lawyer bills, etc.  After dealing with many, many unsuccessful rounds of IVF, to have to go through that was insane.  I'm glad that their son is now officially theirs, and they can move on with their lives as a family.
