BF and BM and Flying...

I haven't posted since I was pregnant so please excuse whatever tickers show up...

My son will be 10 months when we fly to Hawaii from NY (long flight and not direct).  

He is EBF and recently has started refusing bottles of pumped milk (I SAH).  We are working on a sippy cup of BM which he is pretty good with but still very messy. 

He is also teething now and before he nurses usually screams and throws himself around for a minute, then is fine once he realizes I'm offering to BF.  I am planning on BF on the plane (however awkward or uncomfortable).

My mom said the other day, "you'll have to find out about security and brining some milk on the plane" and I guess I wasn't planning on doing that at all!  

Should I bring pumped milk for his sippy cup or just plan to nurse only?  What do you think is easier? He does not have his own seat if that matters.
