BF'g when groggy after a CS??

The last time I gave birth I had a scheduled C-section b/c my child was breech. Following the surgery (which took place in the morning) I spent the entire day completely groggy, out of it, and throwing up the entire day. I did not even try BF'g until the next day and I think b/c of that huge delay my milk supply took a hit.

I'm now scheduled for a repeat section and I'm wondering if others here have had similar experiences after a C-section? I honestly don't know if I'm just terribly sensitive to IV drugs and that's why I was so groggy but I want to avoid this situation again...
