Hello,

My LO is 7 days old and so far breast feeding has been going pretty well. Her latch is good and aside from an annoying milk blister I haven't been in any pain.

we have been feeding her around 8-10 times a day and I usually pump after 2-3 feedings a day to build a stash and help stimulate my supply.

Her number of diapers are where they should be.

Our one issue is waking her and keeping her awake to feed and it seems to be getting harder instead of easier. We've tried changing her, burping her wiping her. Wit a damp cloth we do baby stretches to keep her uncomfortable and it is a real struggle so iam wondering if anyone has any suggestions on ways we can keep her up.

i try and keep her feeding sessions around 30 minutes but when she is extra sleepy sometimes we barely break 20 minutes. Is this ok? Or should I be concernedthe shorter feedings?

 Thanks for any feedback, I am a FTM and everything makes me worry these days!
