XP: EP sudden increase in supply

Ok, so for the longest I was just making enough for him to eat. The minimum 4 oz, which he would eat 3 to 3.5. Once I got my double pump I went to making 6 maybe 7 oz and he would 4. Now I'm making 7 to 11 oz and making up with rock hard boobs. His intake hasn't increase but my supply has. I usually pump every 3 hrs because that's how he ate now he's stretching closer to 4 so I'm stretching till 4 to sometimes 5 hr to not have an over supply.
Wth happened? For the second day in a row I've woken up rock hard boobs and a ridiculous over supply. I'm not complaining just wondering....like WTH?!
To add on, I was on the depo shot but that wore off within the last 5 days
