Feeling like giving up...

I am a FTM and decided to give breastfeeding a try.  The past few days have been so overwhelming I feel like DD constantly wants to nurse and that I can't supply enough for her.  I broke down last night and gave her formula for the first time during her night feeding because the thought of trying to nurse her again after doing it every hour for three hours before that made me want to cry.  I am also frustrated that I need to start rebuilding my supply because I lost it with not having power for the last week due to Hurricane Sandy.  Does anyone else feel like giving up? How do you stay motivated?
