Pumping - Introducing the First Bottle?

 

I've read in a few sources that the best time to offer the first bottle of pumped breast milk is between weeks 4 and 6.  I'm curious from those who've gone before:  do you agree?  Would you lean more toward the earlier/later end of the spectrum?  We are planning to try next week, so that I might be able to go to a bridal shower a couple weekends from now and my husband would be able to feed Eddie while I'm gone.  TIA!
