Nursing to Sleep

For those who are nursing or have nursed older babies - can you talk to me about nursing to sleep?

I have always nursed DD to sleep. I know babies will stop doing this on their own when they are ready. I am not worried about it at this point but I am just curious about the future and was wondering when/how other babies stopped doing this.

Did your baby stop nursing to sleep on his/her own? How did it happen and how old was your LO?

Or did you do something to help your LO stop, and if so, what method did you use?
