Okay, this is the third post I've written about this medicine so sorry about that.. I talked my doctor into prescribing me this as opposed to Metronidazole as my post below explained. Yay! Thank you for your responses, I did call the infant risk place and they were EXTREMELY helpful. They said only 6.7 percent of this is excreted in breastmilk. I'm getting all these warnings from my doctor and pharmacy about how I should not breastfeed on this med still... I know it's a liability thing, but goodness, it makes me so nervous. Someone said they were BFing and getting this med through IV but are the pills the same? Anyone take this med while BFing and all was well? Just looking for reassurance...please.
