Bottles

I mostly feed from the breast, but occasionally give LO, who is 6 weeks old, pumped milk. I have been using medela bottles with slow flow nipples. It sems like so much milk leaks out of his mouth while he is eating, to the point his shirt is pretty wet by the time he is done. Is this normal? Or should I try a different brand of bottles?
