Every 90 minutes

Some days my daughter eats almost every 90 minutes. She is almost 11 weeks old and it seems like that is too often because a lot of people mention babies should eat every 2 to 3 hours. She does not like to take naps and fights them horribly, so sometimes as I nurse her she will eventually drift off to sleep. I'm wondering if she is really tired and not hungry, but when she is screaming at the top of her lungs for five minutes and I can't calm her down, I will start to nurse her and she's just fine. It just seems like a short span of time between sessions. Any thoughts?
