MRI with contrast

I have to get an MRI with contrast, and my neuro advised that I would have to pump and dump for 24 hours. After researching this, I have not found any information to supoort this. On the contrary, I found that such a small amount is excreted in bm, that there is no reason to abstain for 24 hours. Has anyone had a MRI with contrast while breastfeeding, and what did you do?
