Scheduling a csection

I had an emergency c/s with my first and we opted to have another with this new baby.

My dr mentioned scheduling it at my next visit so we can start to plan.

In your experiences did you have some input in what day? or did the dr basically just add you in when there was an opening?

We are hoping to be able to have some say but really I don't care when they want me to do it. Just curious!
